Spread across rolling hills with tall maples and oaks, John Lafoy designed a public facility that fits any game and skill level. The course has great bunkering and the greens tend to be undulating and in great shape. The course is named after the Native American warrior group part of the original six tribes of the Powhatan Confederacy. The area that the golf course lies on is part of the tract of land they were granted after many battles with the English Settlers.
