Across Kingsmill Resort there are plenty of places to find reminders of our nations beginning. From the docks sitting in the James River off the famed 17th hole or the Mill that is located off the 13th tee of the River Course, there are glimpses of our colonial history around every corner. The River Course is a Pete Dye design that went through a renovation in 2005 and is now the host of the LPGA each year for the Kingsmill Championship. Before the ladies it was the host to the PGA Tour for 22 years. The second course on site is the Arnold Palmer layout named the Plantation Course. The course takes you by the original Burwell Plantation ma historical landmark that remains intact. The course favors the left-to-right shot and presents players with a true test of accuracy and good putting.

Played it day after Christmas and it was 65 degrees! Course was in great shape, a little wet from rain but fairways were very green for Winter. Greens were great and staff friendly. Cool to play course I have seen on TV. Definitely recommend.
